AusPASS - AQ3 SW Queensland and NW New South Wales
AusPass is a service dedicated to the acquisition, management, and distribution of passive seismological data in Australia. Extensive fieldwork projects are conducted across the country, organized in seismic arrays (i.e. groups of seismic stations).
AQ3 is part of the Australian WOMBAT transportable array. AQ3 covers a 160000 square km area across the south-west corner of Queensland and the north-west corner of New South Wales. Seismometers are Lennartz LE-3DLite MkII and are sited at approximately 55-65 km spacings. A sample rate of 50 samples per second was used for continuous recording on three channels.
